Jamnagar Airport (JGA)

The Jamnagar airport or the Civil Enclave, Jamnagar is owned by the Indian Air Force. The airport is situated 8 kilometres from the city and permits both commercial and private flights. The airport has a small lounge and a cafeteria. The Government has announced the plans for expansion of the airport in the year 2012. The airport is connected to the city via a four-lane highway. There are private taxis and auto-rickshaws available at the airport. The nearest bus station and railway station are situated 7 kilometres away. A taxi from the airport to Lakota museum (9 km from the airport) can be taken. Derani Jethani Mahal and Ramanlal Lake Park are right next to the museum. Other tourist spots like Pratap Vilas Palace, Chandi Bazaar, can be reached by taxi.
