Somnath
The Somnath Temple is first of the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. It is located on the western coast of Gujarat and one of the oldest temples of the country. The temple is located on the ancient triveni sangam and the three rivers such as Kapila, Hiran and Saraswati. The place will never lose its beauty, the temple destroyed as many as seventeen times by emperors like Mahmud Ghazni, Alauddin Khilji and Aurangzeb. The best time to visit Somnath temple is from October to March. Somnath also offers beaches, museums and many other attractions. Dwarka
Dwarkadhish temple is also known as Jagat Mandir, Chalukya Style architecture and it is dedicated to Lord krishna. Dwarka has its history dated back to the kingdom of Swaraka in Mahabharata. Dwarka is 2200 year old and it is built by Vajrananha, who constructed it over the land reclaimed from the sea by Lord Krishna. The temple is located in Gomti creek, this place is always crowded by people and especially during the grand celebration of Janmashtami. The devotees are always expected to take a dip in the Gomti river before entering the temple through the Swarg Dwar. This pilgrimage is supported by 72 pillars, and the vibe of the temple is full of Zest in the locale.
Ambaji
Ambaji temple is located close to Khodiyar Chowk, Ambaji Mata Temple is Shakti peeth in India. Ambaji also houses six other Shrines o.e Ambikeshwar mahadev, Varahi Mata, Ganapati temples, Khodiyar mata, Hanuman temples and Ajayar mata temple. At navratri the Ambaji mata temple is full vibrant and catches a different vibe all span of nine days celebration. Diwali also attracts several believers to the temple. Chotila
Chotila is a Hindu temple town and Taluka headquarters of Chotila Taluka, Surendranagar district is located in Rajkot(Gujarat). THe chotila hill is surrounded by the temple of Chamunda and is 1173 feet in height. By climbing the 620 steps you will be going to see the temple. It is believed that Goddess Durga killed two demons, the goddess is the kuldevi of most of the Hindus residing in the Saurashtra region.
Pavagadh
Pavagadh is located to the Kalika Mata Temple, these temples are discovered and revered by Tolemi in 140AD. These temples were destroyed and renovated between the 800AD and the late 1930s.
